How to delete your login account in the Pal&Ko apps.

1. Delete via the app (recommended)

The fastest route: the app itself.

  1. Open the Pal&Ko app on your iPhone or Android device.
  2. Sign in with your email address and password.
  3. Tap Profiel (Profile).
  4. Expand Account verwijderen (Delete account).
  5. Read the confirmation text and type VERWIJDEREN to confirm.
  6. Tap Definitief verwijderen (Delete permanently). The app signs you out automatically.

2. Delete by email (alternative)

If the in-app route does not work, or you no longer have access to the app, send an email to info@palenkothuiszorg.nl with subject Account deletion. Include the email address you use to sign in to the app. We will delete the account manually within five working days and confirm by email.

4. What is retained (legally required)

Client and care notes that you recorded during your employment are retained under the mandatory retention period set by the Dutch Healthcare Documentation Act (Wgbo): 20 years after the last contact with the client (article 7:454 of the Dutch Civil Code). Payroll and invoicing records are retained for 7 years under Dutch tax law. An anonymised audit trail remains available for inspection by the Dutch Healthcare Inspectorate.

5. Deletion is permanent

Deletion cannot be undone. If you later need access again, an administrator at Pal&Ko Thuiszorg has to invite you for a new account.

6. Complaints about the deletion

If you feel we have not handled your deletion request correctly, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
